KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted hot and humid weather in most districts of the Sindh province during the next 24 hours.
Today, Karachi experienced mainly dry weather, with temperatures ranging from 34°C to 24°C. However, the city will witness more sunshine, leading to a rise in temperatures. The humidity in the city varies up to 60% and the air is moving in the northwest direction at the speed of 14 km/h.
Weather will remain dry in most parts of the country. However, in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan, apart from being partly cloudy, there may be light rain with strong winds and thundershowers in a few places.
Residents of Karachi are advised to take necessary precautions to stay safe during this period, such as staying hydrated, avoiding outdoor activities during peak sun hours, and using protective gear like hats and sunglasses.
