Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) Ameer Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that not only the people but even USA and China are being blackmailed in the name of terrorism while in fact our resources are being seized under the pretext of terrorism.
He said this while addressing an event organized by JUI-F Dera Ismail Khan on Wednesday at Jamia Maarif al-Sharia which was presided over by District Ameer and Parliamentary Leader of JUI-F in Provincial Assembly Maulana Lutfur Rehman.
Maulana Fazlur Rahman has said that we have strengthened the Parliament of Pakistan and democracy through constitutional amendments. He said that the February 8 elections were so-called as people put something in the ballot boxes and something else comes out in the election result.
Maulana Fazlur Rahman said that they are being called traitors when they talk about rights and resources. He said that a general and a peasant are both Pakistanis and equal citizens.
“There is no systematic and effective policy for ending terrorism and establishing peace,” he said, adding that the people but even USA and China are being blackmailed in the name of terrorism while in fact our resources are being seized under the pretext of terrorism.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman further said that according to the Constitution of Pakistan, Pakistan is not a secular state country but an Islamic Republic. “While there will be democracy and the government will not be established against the will of the people, democracy is also bound by the Qur’an and Sunnah,” Maulana said.
He said that the recommendations of the Islamic Ideological Council (IIC) have not been implemented till date, but now it has been made mandatory through 26th Constitutional Amendment that the government will submit its recommendations in the Parliament and implement them. He said that earlier the agreement of 40 percent legislators was mandatory for sending any matter to the IIC and this ratio was decreased to 25 percent under the 26th constitutional amendment.
Unfortunately, previously the establishment was strengthened through different ways but now we have strengthened the parliament through the amendment.
He said that terrorism is being used to blackmail people. Maulana said that the people of the provinces have the right to their own resources but when he talks about his people’s rights, he is called traitors.”We will not allow our rights to be usurped,” he announced.
He said that the armed groups were roaming openly and the people were afraid. He said the hatred was being created among the provinces to weaken the state. The provincial rights were clearly defined in the constitution, he said and added that the people of each province have rights over the resources of their respective provinces.
He said that he showed solidarity on the occasion of the meeting of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) because he understands the national interest but now let’s see what the rulers do to improve.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the freedom of Al-Aqsa Mosque is also our duty while brutal Israel is inflicting atrocities on non-Muslims. He said that more than 60,000 people, including children and women, have been martyred, while the Islamic world is enjoying their own luxuries. He urged upon the governments of Muslim countries to take practical steps to end ongoing genocide in Palestine.
“The founding father of Pakistan declared Israel illegitimate and now there is talk of recognizing it so that Kashmir can be dealt with in the second phase,” he claimed, adding that he will not allow it to recognize the illegal and terrorist State of Israel.
District Ameer and Parliamentary Leader of JUi-F in KP Provincial Assembly Maulana Lutfur Rehman said that regarding the 26th Amendment that the manifesto of JUI-F accomplished under the leadership of Maulana Fazlur Rehman is unmatched.
He said that Mufti Mehmood played a role in the constitution making and Maulana Fazlur Rehman fought and won against the amendment clauses included in the constitution against the ideology of Pakistan.
Provincial Ameer Senator Maulana Atta-ur-Rehman said that not only the Constitution but also the country has been saved by the role of Maulana Fazlur-Rehman.
Maulana Ashraf Ali, Mufti Abdul Wahid Qureshi, District General Secretary of JUI-F Muhammad Ashfaq Chaudhary, Qari Muhammad Usman Muawiya, Maulana Hizfur Rahman Khanukhel, Shahid Bhaani, Syed Fayaz Shah, Asif Qadir Advocate, Pir Abdul Shakoor, Maulana Ameer Muhammad Jan, Qari Umair Farooqui, Maulana Muhammad Islam, Maulana Allah Noor, Kafeel Ahmed Nizami also addressed te event.
On behalf of the district party, Maulana Fazlur Rehman was given a turban and a shield was also presented. On this occasion, a gift sent by Pir Zulfiqar Naqshbandi was also presented. A turban was also decorated by EPCA and the Markazi Anjuman-i-Tajran.
