LAHORE: A renowned Pakistani actress and stage artist Nargis has allegedly been subjected to domestic violence by her husband, brother Khuram Bhatti confirmed.
Nargis’s brother reported to police that her sister was beaten black and blue by her husband after which police reached the actress’ house in Eden City, a private housing society in Lahore.
Bhatti told the police that Inspector Majid Bashir, husband of Nargis, tortured his sister every day. “Today, Inspector Majid assaulted my sister so severely that her condition has worsened,” he stated in the police complaint.
Choorian actress married Inspector Majid Bashir a few years ago and since then, she has said goodbye to showbiz and running a beauty salon in Lahore.
