KARACHI: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has intensified its investigation into the alleged leak of the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) in Karachi.
Approximately 150 students have been summoned for questioning, with 96 attending interviews at the FIA office on November 1.
Students reported receiving similar exam paper via WhatsApp a day before the test and provided contact details, of individuals allegedly selling the paper.
Although the investigation is ongoing, officials have not yet confirmed a complete match with leaked material.
Students who scored exceptionally high- are under scrutiny, particularly following complaints about irregularities in the MDCAT process. The Sindh High Court has ordered a retest due to these concerns.
The FIA may conduct mock tests to ensure transparency in the investigation, which stems from a report highlighting flaws in the MDCAT administration by a fact-finding committee.
