LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif granted the heartfelt wish of visually impaired vlogger Hafiz Muhammad Ali by presenting him with a new car on Monday.
In a touching gesture, she handed him the car key, opened the door, and helped him into the driver’s seat. When asked if he was happy, Muhammad Ali enthusiastically replied, “I am very happy.”
This generous act fulfilled Muhammad Ali’s desire, expressed during a meeting with the Chief Minister a few weeks prior.
In a statement Ali praised Maryam Nawaz Sharif, saying, “She is really like a mother; only a mother can feel that much.”

Hafiz Muhammad Ali is an inspiration, being a blind cricketer, poet, and expert cricket commentator. Despite his visual impairment, he has mastered Urdu and English languages and memorized the Holy Quran.
Utilizing Google Assistant, he skillfully operates his mobile phone and creates unique content as the country’s first visually impaired vlogger and YouTuber.
Muhammad Ali’s background is marked by resilience. His father, Riaz Hussain, worked as a private driver in Karachi, causing Muhammad Ali to struggle with their separation.
He has been a steadfast supporter of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) since its inception, driven by empathy for others. Family members, including his father and brother Kamil Abbas, and friends joined him on this special occasion.
