ISLAMABAD: To promote clean energy and reward bright students, the federal government is planning to distribute 100 electric bikes.
Federal Minister for Industries and Production Rana Tanveer Hussain announced that 100 top performing students will be awarded free electric bikes to encourage young talent in the country’s growing electric vehicle industry.
The Minister highlighted the latest initiative in the broader government push to promote eco-friendly transport and promote innovation in the electric vehicle sector. The distribution of electric bikes among students is expected to create awareness about sustainable mobility while providing a platform for young people to engage with emerging technologies.
Tanveer believed that the future of Pakistan’s transportation sector lies in clean energy and it is important to involve our youth in this transformation. By offering e-bikes to these students, we hope to inspire a new generation of innovators who will move the country toward greener, more sustainable solutions.
