LAHORE: The government of Punjab has decided to provide artificial rain in Rawalpindi due to the deteriorating smog situation in the province.
Punjab government plans to experiment with artificial rainfall in Rawalpindi, the decision depends on the possible presence of clouds.
After this decision, environmental and other related departments have reached Rawalpindi.
It is worth noting that smog has badly affected many cities, including the capital of Punjab, Lahore, which is currently among the most polluted cities in the world.
Recently, Multan also recorded an alarmingly high pollution index due to smog, prompting the provincial government to close the motorway due to poor visibility.
The winds coming from India worsened the smog situation in Lahore, now the fog and smog is increasing in Rawalpindi and the federal capital Islamabad as well.
