Eight years after surprising audiences with a cameo in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016), directed by Karan Johar, Pakistani actor Imran Abbas is returning with another international project. Abbas, who is making his Punjabi film debut, will co-star with Simi Chahal, an Indian actor, in Jee Ve Sohneya Jee.
On January 25, the official trailer for the movie debuted to great fanfare. Jee Ve Sohneya Jee, written and directed by Thaparr, tells the narrative of the love between Abbas’s character, an Indian girl, and Chahal’s character, a Pakistani lad. The film, which has garnered appreciation for the connection between its two leading ladies, seems to be a poignant examination of a love that knows no boundaries.
Abbas posted a sentimental message on Instagram to show his gratitude for his next assignment. The actor posted a photo of himself wearing a white dress shirt, a stylish blue suit, and a pink turban.
He included a sentimental letter in the post’s caption, sharing his thoughts on the movie. “Jee Ve Sohneya Jee is very important to me. It is not merely a film. The Ehraam-e-Junoon actor said, “It is a serious endeavor to bring two Punjab and their people even closer.
He continued, saying, “It is a gift from my team and myself to everyone who believes in the limitless power of love. Regardless of where we live or where we came from, love is the greatest gift our creator has given us. Abbas continued, “Together, we can bring about change and put an end to the culture of hatred that has already caused immense harm to humanity,” underscoring the optimism that such endeavors bring for long-lasting peace and unity.
