MACH: Late on Monday, security personnel in the Mach region of Balochistan stopped militants from the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) from carrying out a “fire raid. “Terrorists fired rockets at the Levies police station and Mach Jail Colony; no casualties were reported.
On Monday night, terrorists fired multiple rockets from mountains, followed by a barrage of gunfire, leaving Mach city deafened and falling into darkness. Explosions and gunfire also occurred in Kolpur and Gokhart Bibi Nani neighborhoods, trapping people inside their homes. At 9:30 p.m., in the Mach region of Kuchi Bolan, unknown individuals fired fifteen rockets from the mountains, according to security sources.
Eight missiles landed in the city and nearby areas, four rained into the FC headquarters, one landed in the Levies police station, and two dropped upon Mach Jail Colony. The city went dark and the market shuttered shortly after the rockets burst with loud bangs and intense shooting.
Several homes’ windowpanes were damaged by the thunderous blasts. Sources claim that the government in Kolpur and Dharar barred all types of vehicles. Explosions and gunfire could be heard late into the night in Kolpur and Gokhart Bibi Nani. According to the sources, security personnel set up an ambush for the terrorists after receiving information about the terrorist strike.

They said that the terrorists withdrew after being overpowered by the security forces’ strong reaction. According to insiders, security personnel have begun a search operation against the terrorists who are escaping. Security troops in the Mach area on Monday night “successfully thwarted three coordinated attacks” by terrorists, according to Jan Achakzai, the acting minister of communications for Balochistan.
