Islamabad: On Tuesday, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Irfan Nawaz Memon launched an initiative to streamline the time-consuming process of obtaining necessary documents and registering a vehicle. Residents living in the vicinity of Fatima Jinnah Park, Bolan Gate, F-9 can access civic amenities via a dedicated van, which operates from 03:00 to 5:00 p.m., providing a hassle-free experience for those wishing to register, transfer, or pay token tax for their vehicles, according to ICT spokesman Dr. Abdullah Tabasum.

The excise personnel will be stationed in the park’s parking lot per DC’s directive, expediting the processes pertaining to automobiles. This program was in line with the goal of increasing public access to necessary services. He added that there will be an on-site “Facilitation Center Doorstep ICT Vehicle” to further enhance convenience.

The ICT Doorstep Service aims to efficiently cater to the diverse needs of residents by offering a variety of essential documents under one roof. These documents include birth certificates, domicile certificates, power of attorney, and international driving permits.
