LAHORE: In a move aimed at ensuring the well-being of students amidst changing weather conditions, authorities in Punjab have announced rescheduled school timings for the month of February 2024.
Starting from February 1, 2024, schools across the province will commence their classes at 8:00 am and conclude at 2:30 pm. This adjustment comes as the extreme cold wave, coupled with rains, comes to an end.
The revised timings dictate that regular classes at boys’ schools in Lahore and other cities will be conducted from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm, while for girls’ schools, classes will take place from 8:15 am to 2:15 pm. Additionally, on Fridays, boys’ schools will conclude classes at 12:15 pm, and girls’ schools will wrap up at 12:00 pm.
