Mustafa Mughal An All Parties Conference was held in D I Khan in which the participants rejected the distribution of assets of Gomal University between University of Agriculture, D I Khan and Gomal University.
The APC was held under the title of “Division of Gomal University, Disapproved (Gomal University ki Taqseem Namanzoor).”
Speaking on the occasion, the speakers including political and social figures and also renowned journalists of the city said, the University of Agriculture should be established, but the government should provide separate privileges and facilities for it. The division of the Gomal University’s assets in a period of time when the University is facing financial deficit will be the final nail in the coffin of the conspiracy to destroy the university.
The speaker said, we are not against the establishment of University of Agriculture, The establishment of University of Agriculture is a long-standing demand of the people of D I khan, we and all the people of D I Khan are in favor of establishing the University of Agriculture, but it is not acceptable on the basis of the division of Gomal University.
They added that the PTI’s provincial government could not provide any mega project for Dera Ismail Khan but instead of providing mega educational projects, the PTI government is destroying the Gomal University of D I Khan.
“Whenever the interest of D I Khan is discussed, only the business community of D I Khan have gone to any extent showing unity and will go in future for the interest of the people of Dera Ismail Khan ”, they said.

The APC’s chief guest was the leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) and President of All Kariana Association, Kafeel Ahmad Nizami while the others spekers included ex-Chairman Dedic Committee Nawabzada Samiullah Khan Alizai, political leader Syed Ali Raza Shah and ex-MPA Nawabzada Mazhar Jameel Khan Alizai.
The renowned journalists Aslam Awan and Abul Muazzam Turabi while President of Markazi Anjuman-e-Tajran and Mian Commercial Market Chaudhry Javed Akhtar, well-known religious scholar Qari Gul Zaman, President of Mrakazi Tajir Ittehad Hamid Ali Rahmani, National Labor Federation leader Haji Khalid Naz, renowned businessmen Sharif Chauhan and Chaudhry Asif also spoke on the occasion.
