KALAT: At least six terrorists were killed during the IBO in Balochistan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Saturday.
“On March 29, 2025, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Kalat district of Balochistan on information about the presence of terrorists,” the ISPR said.
The army’s media wing said that during the operation, its troops effectively located the terrorists’ hideout and successfully neutralized 6 terrorists after a fierce exchange of fire.
The ISPR added that the slain terrorists were active in recent terrorist operations against law enforcement agencies as well as innocent civilians in the area.
A clearance operation is being conducted in the area to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area, as Pakistan’s security forces are determined to foil attempts to sabotage the peace, stability and development of Balochistan, in collaboration with the nation.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that earlier, eleven Khawarij were killed during IBOs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. “On 26-27 March 2025, eleven Khawarij were killed by security forces in four separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province,” the ISPR said.
The security forces conducted an operation in Mir Ali area of North Waziristan on intelligence input. During the operation, the forces effectively targeted the Khawarij location, resulting in the killing of five Khawarij. In a second operation in the same general area, three more Khawarij were successfully neutralized by the forces.
