
LAHORE: The last day of Eid-ul-Fitr saw a rush of tourists at parks, breakfast spots and other popular entertainment venues, with families and children taking full advantage of the last day of the festival. Crowds continued to gather as the day began, enjoying the pleasant weather.
Major picnic spots like Badshahi Masjid, Lahore Fort and Iqbal Park were packed with tourists, while Lahore Zoo was the most popular spot of the day. Visitors enjoyed a variety of activities on offer, with many families spending quality time together soaking in the festive spirit. Special arrangements were made to handle the large crowd, ensuring smooth flow of visitors at public attractions.
While the zoo continued to attract the largest crowds, the nearby Lawrence Gardens saw fewer visitors than in previous days. After two days of grand celebrations, the last day of Eid saw children eagerly enjoying the last moments of the holiday.
Many planned outdoor activities, while others enjoyed amusement rides at local parks. Families also joined in one last round of feasting, with foodies enjoying everything from traditional karahi and saji to barbecues and ice cream.
During the first two days, huge crowds were seen at restaurants and public places in Lahore, Karachi and other major cities, where people gathered to celebrate with their loved ones. Women and children were also seen enjoying the festivities to the fullest and the atmosphere of joy continued till the last day of Eid. As the long weekend approached, families had one last chance to celebrate before returning to their routines.
