FAISALABAD: Eleven members of a family were killed and five others injured in a traffic accident on the Landianwala-Lahore Road on Sunday.
The affected family was returning home in loader rickshaws after celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr when a speeding bus hit the rickshaw. Five members of the family died on the spot while six others succumbed to their injuries after reaching the hospital.
The deceased include Shazia, Mumtaz Bibi, Shahzad, Amna and Humaira. The deceased and injured have been shifted to Allied Hospital in Faisalabad where they are being given medical assistance to supplement the medical staff.
