LAHORE: The Punjab Police has launched a digital e-license program that gives drivers a digital version of their licenses. This program attempts to reduce the problem of unlicensed driving and make it easier for law enforcement agencies to verify licenses during vehicle stops.
Drivers can now access their counterpart digital driving license-permitting e-license system from their cellular devices, and it will serve as a legitimate proof of a license when asked by the police.
Key features of the Punjab e–license system: Access to digital licenses: Eligible citizens will access their e-license by visiting the website (dlims.punjab.gov.pk), clicking the License Information tab, and clicking the E-License button.
Downloading: Users submit their CNIC number, date of birth and then click the download button to obtain their e–license downloaded to PDF format.
