They were instructed to make sure they showed up in person for the hearing today at ten a.m. The interim premier was ordered by the court to come before the bench during the February 13 hearing.
The assistant attorney general (AAG) requested that the preceding hearing be adjourned at the beginning since the attorney general was not accessible. But the request was turned down. Justice Kayani went on to say that anybody responsible for forced disappearances ought to be executed.
Justice Kayani declared, “Those involved [in the forced disappearance] should be given the death penalty twice.” He then requested an in-person appearance from the caretaker PM to clarify why he shouldn’t be the subject of a case.

The advocate general, however, begged the court to grant them more time to finish the case. However, Justice Kayani turned down the government’s request.
Prime Minister Kakar has been called before by the IHC twice now. The last time he was called to appear in person before it was on November 22, 2023, in a matter that Advocate Imaan Mazari had brought. He did not show there, though, because he was outside the nation.
