Board of Secondary Education Karachi postpones Intermediate Part I supplementary exam

Karachi: Numerous papers for the Intermediate Part I Supplementary Examination were postponed by the Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) on Friday. The start of the exam was set on February 6. Days before the general election on February 8 and the ensuing shutdown of educational institutions from February 6 to February 11, the decision was made.

Botany paper I (Science Pre-Medical), statistics paper I (General Science), biology and bacteriology (Home Economics), commerce papers I (Regular & Private), sociology paper I (Arts Regular & Private), nursing paper I, and summaries of home economics paper I (Special Candidates) are among the papers that have been postponed.

Exams that were postponed will now take place at the same locations on February 12.
The decision was taken in response to a notification from the Sindh government on the shutdown of educational institutions due to elections. It will be necessary for students who were supposed to take the postponed papers on February 6 to modify their study plans and get ready for the new exam date.

This postponement can be inconvenient for students and mean more work for those who have already scheduled their study sessions.

In the meantime, the Karachi Intermediate Board has sent a letter to the department investigating corruption requesting that its personnel be charged with a crime.
