Lahore:  PDMA Punjab has issued an alert to the administration regarding rains. According to the spokesman PDMA, there are chances of rain in different areas of Punjab next week. From February 26 to February 27, there are chances of rain in the upper areas of Punjab. It will rain in Attock, Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Chakwal, Sargodha, Mianwali. There are chances of rain and hailstorm in Bhakkar, Leh and Dera Ghazi Khan.

There are chances of heavy rain and snowfall in and around Murree Gulyat. Spokesperson PDMA. DGPDM Imran Qureshi directed the concerned administration to remain alert. The provincial control room of PDMA has been alerted. DG Imran Qureshi

There is an integrated system of communication of the district administration from the control room. Tourists should be extremely cautious in uncertain weather. Weather Forecast Lahore: Rain expected to begin Next week PDMA advisory


LAHORE: Local governments are being cautioned by the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Punjab to prepare for expected rain showers in different regions of the province starting on Monday, February 26.

It is predicted that rain will continue in the higher regions till February 27. Districts such as Attock, Rawalpindi, and Jhelum are likely to have rain, and Bhakkar, Leh, and Dera Ghazi Khan might see rain and hail.

Furthermore, a number of major cities, most notably Lahore, are in danger of experiencing massive downpours, which might seriously disturb routine, especially with regard to road infrastructure and traffic flow.

PDMA quickly mobilized in reaction to the impending weather changes, notifying District Emergency Operation Centers to stay on high alert.

Lahore Weather Update; Weather to be partly Overcast and Cold


Lahore:  Wednesday and Thursday, Lahore and several areas of Punjab are expected to see partly overcast and cold weather, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD). Mainly dry weather is expected in most districts of the Punjab province. Light rain-thunderstorm is likely in Sialkot and Narowal. Partly cloudy weather with light rain/light snow is expected in Murree, Galliyat and surrounding during afternoon.

The higher regions of Pakistan are being affected by a westerly wave based on the synoptic scenario. It might continue for the next twenty-four hours.

Given these circumstances, much of Punjab is predicted to experience chilly, dry weather on Tuesday evening and night, with freezing temperatures in the upper districts on Wednesday and Thursday. There will likely be more rain, wind, thunder, and snow in Murree, Galyat, and the adjacent areas.

Partially cloudy skies with light rain, wind, thunderstorm, and snowfall are predicted for Murree, Galyat, and the neighboring areas on Wednesday and Thursday.
We can probably expect Lahore’s minimum temperature to stay in the range 10–12 C on Thursday. In the meantime, certain areas of Punjab had sporadic showers throughout the past day.
