Nawaz Sharif Vows to Fulfill Promises, Highlights Economic Progress


Faisalabad: Leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has stated that he intends to fulfill every promise he makes, emphasizing that his government’s tenure saw unprecedented progress and economic stability.

Addressing a gathering in Faisalabad, Nawaz Sharif expressed his commitment to addressing unemployment concerns, asserting that no individual would be without employment if his government had continued. He highlighted the support of the youth and their potential to bring back the era when bread was affordable at just 4 rupees.

Reflecting on past economic conditions, Nawaz Sharif recalled an era when gold was priced at 50,000 rupees per tola, expressing regret over the lack of initiatives to alleviate the financial burdens faced by ordinary citizens.

Praising the enthusiastic spirit of Faisalabad’s residents, Nawaz Sharif noted the unprecedented energy witnessed in the city and envisioned further development, including the construction of additional roadways to accommodate the city’s growing traffic.

Meanwhile, his daughter, Maryam Nawaz, reaffirmed the PML-N’s commitment to progressive politics, dismissing accusations of misconduct and emphasizing the party’s focus on developmental projects. She praised Faisalabad’s industrial prowess and emphasized that the city’s progress would translate into national prosperity.

Additionally, Shehbaz Sharif, in his address, pledged to enhance basic amenities in Faisalabad, attributing the city’s development to Nawaz Sharif’s vision and leadership. He announced plans for the construction of expressways and reiterated the party’s dedication to initiating educational programs for the youth upon assuming power.

The gathering concluded with Shehbaz Sharif announcing the party’s support for local elections scheduled for February 8 and promising educational opportunities for the youth under the PML-N’s governance.
