Abbottabad: In another tragic incident, a local leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Immu was shot dead in Abbottabad.

According to the local police reports, the former District Nazim of Malakpura and Tehsil member was assassinated outside his residence on Friday. The motive behind the attack remains unclear, with authorities investigating whether it was a targeted assault or a result of personal enmity.

Imran, who had recently joined PTI after previously being associated with Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz, was actively involved in the party’s campaign ahead of the upcoming polls.

Upon receiving the news, law enforcement officials rushed to the scene and subsequently shifted Imran’s body to DHQ hospital for further medico-legal procedures.
