PTI announces Mian Aslam Iqbal as PTI’s candidate for CM Punjab
ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister and founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has picked Mian Aslam Iqbal as the candidate for Punjab chief minister as the party is holding engagements with other political parties for the formation of government.
Barrister Gohar Khan made the announcement after top leaders held a meeting with the incarcerated party chief at Adiala Jail. PTI leader earlier moved court for meeting with Imran to discuss the ongoing political scenario.
PTI stalwart Mian Aslam Iqbal bagged Punjab Assembly elections from PP-152 Lahore VIII by securing 61,847 votes.

PML-N, on the other hand, is set to clinch majority in both federal and Punjab assemblies, cementing its status as a top political force
