Sources claim that on Thursday, the provincial chief secretary visited Jatti Umrah to inform Maryam and PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif about the state of affairs in Punjab. During the meeting, Zaman gave a briefing on the province’s current state of law and order as well as the ongoing development projects.

Along with the chief secretary, Ali Jan, the health secretary, was present at the meeting. According to party sources, the PML-N member was briefed on the province’s law and order situation during their meeting with the Punjab Inspector General in Jatti Umrah.

The PML-N has nominated the Sharif family scion for the position of Punjab chief minister following her victory in the most recent general elections, which were held on February 8. She was elected to the National legislature and the provincial legislature in Lahore in general elections. Voters chose the party’s mainstay on PP-159 and NA-119, respectively.
