Islamabad Weather Forecast: Cold and dry weather to prevail across City


Islamabad: Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and parts of Pakistan on Thursday evening/night, Friday and Saturday, says the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

According to the synoptic situation, a shallow westerly wave prevails over Kashmir and adjoining areas. In light of these circumstances, Friday evening and night and the following two days are predicted to be primarily cool and dry in the twin cities and most of the nation.

The minimum temperature in Islamabad on Saturday is probably going to be between 0 and 3 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature in Rawalpindi on Friday and Saturday is going to be between 05 and 07 C.

Over the past day, the majority of the country saw chilly, dry weather, while the top regions saw some cloud cover and freezing temperatures. On the other hand, Kakul reported 02 mm of rain.

Weather in other Cities:

Cold and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country, while very cold and partly cloudy in northern parts. Rain 03mm in Malam Jabba and light rain in occurred in Kotli during the period, while 01 inch snow also recorded in Malam Jabba.
Today’s recorded Lowest Minimum Temperatures (°C): Leh -18, Kalam -13, Astore -09, Skardu -07, Gupis, Hunza, Malam Jabba -05, Bagrote and Quetta -04.
