Peshawar: The Health Card Program in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has not only been restored but also expanded under the leadership of Dr. Riyaz Tanoli, the Chief Executive Officer of the program.

Addressing concerns regarding treatment limitations under the Health Card Program, Dr. Riyaz Tanoli assured the public that reforms have been implemented to prevent the misuse of services. He highlighted that certain services have been restricted to government hospitals, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.

Dr. Tanoli emphasized that these reforms have led to substantial savings, exceeding 600 million rupees. This achievement underscores the program’s commitment to fiscal responsibility and efficient healthcare delivery.

Furthermore, the Health Card Program now offers a comprehensive range of services, including vaccinations, transplants, appendectomies, angiography, and more. These services are available not only in Medical Teaching Institutions (MTIs) but also in various government hospitals across the province.

In a move to ensure transparency and accessibility, a detailed list of hospitals included in the Health Card Program has been released for all districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This initiative aims to provide residents with clear information about healthcare facilities available under the program, facilitating easier access to quality medical services.
