Eidul Fitr 2024 holiday for schools – People are excitedly anticipating the start of the final and third Ashra of the holy month of Ramadan, which is set to begin on Monday, April 1.
In order for students and other people to celebrate the holiday with passion and zest, federal and provincial governments declare public holidays for all other sectors of the economy, including schools.
This year, the government predicts that Ramadan will last 29 days, and Eid is most likely to fall on Wednesday, April 10. Amidst all of this excitement, students are eagerly waiting for the official announcement of Eid vacations from the government.
Expected Eid Holidays for schools in Punjab
The Punjab government has yet to issue an official notification for Eid holidays, but it is expected that schools will observe six holidays from April 9 to 14 if Eid falls on April 10.
If Eidul Fitr falls on April 11, schools in Punjab will observe five holidays from April 10 to 14, and resume classes on April 15.
The Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will make the final decision about Eidul Fitr after sighting the Shawal moon.
