ISLAMABAD: Anticipation is running high in the United States, Canada, Mexico and other regions because today will see a total solar eclipse, the rare celestial moment when the moon comes between the sun and Earth, blocking the sunlight to one side, casting a shadow over it.

The solar eclipse is said to be the most visible solar eclipse, with more than 30 million people in the path of totality spread across North America.

The path of the solar eclipse will be about 115 miles, and people in 15 states of the United States will enjoy this rare phenomenon.
