TOBA TEK SINGH: A DNA report revealed that 23-year-old Maria, who was killed by her brother, was not sexually assaulted.

According to the details, the District Police Officer (DPO), Ibadat Nisar, said that the DNA report did not prove sexual assault on the deceased Maria. He said that the two brothers of the deceased are accusing each other of raping their sister; the allegations were not proved in the DNA report.

The DPO said that the samples of the main accused, who are Maria’s brother and father, have been taken. Ibadan Nisar said that the main accused and the father had doubts about the role of the victim.

The DPO said that according to the forensic report, the video is genuine and the police have fulfilled all the legal requirements. It may be noted that in a shocking incident in Toba Tek Singh in early March, a man strangled his sister to death in the presence of her father and other family members.

Another brother was filming the murder while the rest of the family watched the horrific incident as if nothing was wrong.

In a heartbreaking video obtained by a private news channel, the man can be seen flattening the sister with a pillow, with other family members, including the victim’s sister-in-law, witnessing the murder.

After the murder, the father of both the accused and the victim gave water to the accused.
