During a Pakistan Super League (PSL) game, New Zealand batsman Colin Munro made the ball boy’s day by teaching him how to catch a ball. It was a heartwarming gesture. In the PSL’s ninth season, Munro plays for Islamabad United, and on Monday, the club faced Peshawar Zalmi in the 20th game at the Pindi Cricket Stadium.
Munro gives a side hug and some coaching advise to a ball boy who had dropped a catch beyond the boundary during a fielding play for United. The child was given another chance later in the game and managed to successfully catch the ball. Munro picked up the small youngster and immediately celebrated with him.
Since then, the footage of this incident has gone viral, and cricket fans have called it one of the nicest things that has ever happened on the pitch. Millions of people have watched the video after it was shared by cricket enthusiasts and social media users.
“I can’t stop staring at this man,” a Facebook user commented.
