Hassan, Hussain Nawaz acquitted in NAB cases. NAB, the lawyer said, did not present any additional evidence on the basis of which the case should be proceeded against Hasan and Hussain. Prosecuting Hasan and Hussain would be a waste of court’s time, Misbah said, adding that they could not be convicted on the basis of the evidence available with the court.
Court cancels Hasan, Hussain’s perpetual arrest warrants. On March 14 of last week, an accountability court granted the brothers’ bail in exchange for a bond of Rs 50,000 per in the three referrals involving the Al-Azizia Steel Mill, the Avenfield Apartments, and Flagship.
In the aforementioned situations, the brother’s perpetual arrest warrants and fugitive status were also revoked by the court. In response to acquittal petitions submitted by Nawaz’s sons, the accountability court had sent a notice to the NAB.
