An accountability court in Islamabad has acquitted Hassan and Hussain Nawaz in NAB cases related to the Al-Azizia Steel Mills, Flagship company, and Avenfield apartments on Tuesday.
Court announced the reserved verdict in the petitions filed by former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s sons — Hasan and Hussain seeking acquittal in corruption cases.
On March 14, the court canceled Hasan and Hussain’s perpetual arrest warrants and approved the bail in exchange for a surety bond of Rs 50,000 per in the three references, the Al-Azizia Steel Mill, the Avenfield Apartments, and Flagship.

According to the details, Judge Nasir Javed Rana heard the discharge pleas in the NAB references. Hassan and Hussain Nawaz’s lawyers Qazi Misbah-ul-Haq and pleader Rana Muhammad Irfan appeared in the court.
Deputy prosecutor NAB Azhar Maqbool replied that the decision of the Supreme Court (SC) is not an obstacle in this case yet the court can give verdict in this case.
The suspects’ lawyer said that the NAB lawyer did not present any additional evidence based on which the case should have proceeded against Hasan and Hussain.
