PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Cabinet, while giving a green signal to the Eid package, has allocated ten thousand rupees in cash for the deserving people across the province.
According to the details, the cabinet also approved Rs 7 billion 60 crore for the purchase of vehicles and security equipment for the police of the merged districts.
This approval was given during the Cabinet meeting chaired by CM KP Ali Amin Gandapur in Peshawar on Friday.
During the meeting, an agreement was approved between the Information Technology Board and the Special Technology Zone Authority to pave the way for the establishment of Pakistan Digital City.
Furthermore, the Cabinet agreed on the rules for appointment of the Chief Executive Officer and members of the Executive Committee of Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization.

Earlier, the provincial government had also decided to give cash to the citizens during Ramadan. According to KP Food Minister Zahir Shah, he has decided to provide cash instead of food packages to the citizens.
