LAHORE: The Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) and the Ravi Urban Development Authority (Ruda) have joined hands to organise the first-ever jeep rally in Lahore in the Ravi river.
The Lahore Fort will host the closing ceremony the following day, while CBD Main Boulevard in Gulberg will host the inaugural ceremony on May 4.
At the Lahore Museum, the managing director of the TDCP, the secretary of tourism and museums, and the chief executive officer of Ruda gave a press briefing. Since 2005, the TDCP has been planning jeep rallies in the desert. On May 4 and 5, there will be a Lahore Ravi Rally. There will be races in the dirt bike, street bike, and truck categories on the about 35 km long track. There would be roughly sixty drivers taking part.
With support from the Sheikhupura DPO, Ruda, commissioner, TDCP, and tourism department, the Lahore Ravi Rally is being organised.

The rally has garnered nationwide attention, with attendees expected from across Pakistan and international participation anticipated in future editions.
