Lahore: Rain and thunderstorms are likely in Lahore and parts of Punjab on Thursday night, Friday, and Saturday. People suffering from heat will get relief from rain and hailstorms.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan. A westerly wave is likely to enter the upper and central regions of the country on Friday evening or night. It is likely to engulf the upper parts on Saturday.
Under the influence of this weather system, partly cloudy winds, gusts, and thundershowers are expected in Murree, Galliat, and surrounding areas on Thursday night. There is a possibility of rain with thunder in Lahore, Potohar region.

It is possible. Isolated hail is also possible during the forecast period. Faisalabad, Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, Sahiwal, Khanewal, Leh, and Bahawalpur are likely to experience gusty winds and thundershowers at a few places.
A wet spell will help temperatures return to normal levels over the weekend. During this week, the temperature in the plains of Punjab remained 03–05 degrees Celsius above normal.
