ISLAMABAD: Gusty winds and thundershowers are expected over Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and parts of Pakistan on Wednesday evening or night, Thursday and Friday.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), weak moisture waves from the Arabian Sea are moving towards central Pakistan, and a shallow westerly wave is affecting the upper regions.
Under these weather conditions, there is a possibility of thundershowers at few places in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Potohar region, Northeast Punjab, Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday evening and night and next two days. In other parts of the country, the weather is likely to remain hot and humid.
The maximum temperature in Islamabad is likely to be between 39 and 41 degrees Celsius on Thursday and between 38 and 40 degrees Celsius on Friday.
