In a significant turn of events in the three-year-old TikToker harassment lawsuit, Ayesha Akram announced on Monday that she had no interest in pursuing the matter.
She forgave all of the defendants in the case, including Bilal Akram, Saddam Ali, and others, and stated that she had no issues with their release in a declaration and affidavit that were turned into a sessions court in Lahore.
The hearing in the matter was later postponed to August 26 by the court.
At the Lorry Adda police station, a formal complaint had been filed against them.
On August 14, 2021, Ayesha was subjected to a horrifying incident in which around 400 men robbed, abused, and humiliated her in broad daylight at Minar-e-Pakistan (Greater Iqbal Park) in Lahore.
To make matters worse, no one came to save her, and the entire episode was captured on camera by the goons.
Later, the incident’s footage became viral on social media, infuriating the public.
