Later, around 70 to 80 students of the Punjab Council started gathering in Hostel No 7, whereas, around 300 Pasthun students assembled in the new cafeteria armed themselves with sticks and iron rods, the FIR added.
As per the police report, under the leadership of their chairman Asad Toori, Pashtun students stormed Hostel No. 7, where the opposition group was staying, leading to a fierce confrontation that lasted for approximately 40 minutes, leaving 25 students injured from both sides.
Among the seriously injured, 5 were shifted to PolyClinic, while 20 were taken to PIMS for medical attention.
