RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 begins today as Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host a grand opening ceremony with a bright and exciting atmosphere here in Rawalpindi. The opening ceremony of Season 10 will begin at 7:00 pm in Pindi stadium.
The crowd will be entertained by renowned Music artists like Abida Parveen, Abrar ul Haq, Ali Zafar, Natasha Baig, and Talha Anjum with their exciting music performances.
Defending champions Islamabad United and two-time winners Lahore Qalandars will play the inaugural match of the six-team competition on the same day. The first ball will be bowled at 8:30 PM.
Advanced player-tracking technology, raffle ticket rewards during games, and complete Urdu commentary for every match are just a few of the additional elements that have been added to improve the fan experience.
With 32 cameras and the newest technology, fans will experience first-rate coverage of the event, which will be shown on many TV networks and digital platforms globally.
On the other hand, more than 300 people would be deployed to maintain traffic movement as PSL routes in Islamabad are partially blocked.
The Murree Road leading to Faizabad and Serena will continue to be closed. There are strict security measures in place on the Expressway, Murree Road, Faisal Avenue, and Srinagar Highway. Those traveling to the Blue Area will take the H8 underpass.
Citizens are advised by traffic police to use the service road from IJP Road to reach Sectors I and H. In addition, people traveling to Bari Imam can use Nadra Chowk.
