
RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 has officially kicked off in Rawalpindi, with defending champions Islamabad United facing Lahore Qalandars in the opening match.
To ensure a smooth experience for teams and spectators, the Metro Bus Service in Rawalpindi will be suspended during specific hours, affecting stations like Faizabad, Khatm-e-Nabuwat Chowk, and Rahmanabad.
This season’s tournament will feature six teams competing in 34 matches across various cities, including Lahore, Karachi, and Multan, from April 11 to May 18.
The Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium hosted the opening ceremony and first match, while the Qaddafi Stadium in Lahore will host 13 matches, including two eliminators and the final.
Some changes have been made in team leadership, with Babar Azam, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi retaining their captaincy roles for Peshawar Zalmi, Islamabad United, Multan Sultans, and Lahore Qalandars, respectively. Meanwhile, David Warner will lead the Karachi Kings, and Saud Shakeel will captain the Quetta Gladiators.
