CM Punjab unveils Bund Road in Lahore


Lahore: Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has inaugurated the Controlled Access Corridor Bund Road Project Package-I for traffic on Friday, praising the timely completion of the project by officials and contractors.

The project, which was completed in just 100 days instead of the initially estimated 16 months, was lauded as a significant achievement during the inauguration ceremony where Commissioner Lahore Division and DG Lahore Development Authority (LDA) briefed the caretaker CM about the project.

Expressing his appreciation for all involved parties, Naqvi emphasized the importance of efficient project execution. He also inspected the ongoing construction work of Package-II of the Controlled Access Corridor Bund Road Project, expressing hope for its completion in the near future.

Following the inauguration, Naqvi also unveiled the newly upgraded emergency block at the Children’s Hospital, accompanied by young blood cancer patients Kainaat and Abdul Mufti Hanaan, along with donor Sherbaz. The upgraded facilities aim to enhance medical services for patients, reflecting the government’s commitment to improving healthcare infrastructure.

Additionally, the Caretaker Chief Minister visited Services Hospital to oversee the progress of a new laboratory and diagnostic center under construction. Naqvi set a deadline of 10 days for the completion of the project.
