The inaugural match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 9) will held today Saturday, Feb 17 between Lahore Qalandars (LQ) and Islamabad United (IU) at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

Lahore Qalandar, who have won the last two PSL seasons, will host Islamabad United in the first match of the 2024 season.

The opening game will kick off at 8 pm PKT after the grand opening ceremony of a much-awaited cricketing event in the country while fixtures in Ramadan will begin at 9 pm.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that the PSL 9 opening ceremony will take place before the inaugural match at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The event will feature performances by PSL 2024 anthem singers Ali Zafar and Aima Baig. Noori, Arif Lohar, Leo Twins, and Natasha Baig will also entertain spectators. The ceremony will also feature fireworks and a laser show.
