ISLAMABAD: The federal government has announced May 28 (tomorrow) as a public holiday on the occasion of Youm-e-Takbeer, here on Monday.
Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif said that Takbeer Day reminded the nation of unity to make national defense impregnable.
Takbeer Day is celebrated in Pakistan on May 28 to commemorate the Chagai-1 and Chagai-2 series of nuclear tests.
The nuclear tests made Pakistan the seventh country and the first in the Muslim world to possess nuclear weapons.
