
KARACHI: Karachi Kings fast bowler Hasan Ali on Monday expressed his optimism about making a comeback into the Pakistan team ahead of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10.
Karachi Kings kicked off their training camp on Monday for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10, with head coach Ravi Bopara and fast bowling coach Shaun Tait overseeing the preparations.
Pakistan Test captain Shan Masood has joined the squad as the team eyes a strong comeback in the upcoming season.
Speaking to the media, pacer Hasan expressed confidence in the team’s preparations for the marquee tournament.
“Many new things are going to happen and this time the whole effort is to win the title. Ravi Bopara has a lot of experience, which will be beneficial for us, ” said Hasan.
The right-arm pacer reflected on his experience with Shaun Tait. He also urged the franchise players to play part in making league successful.
“My experience with Shaun Tait has been good. PSL has completed 10 years, and all the franchise players will make this event successful by delivering their best performance,” said Hasan.
The 30-year-old bowler hopes to make a strong comeback to the national team through consistent performances.

“I have performed well last year and I am aiming to perform well individually so I can return to Pakistan team, ” he remarked.
Hasan Ali commented on the national team’s performance, stressing the need for quality cricket to bring fans back.
“When the national side underperforms, it affects overall cricket morale. We need to play quality cricket to bring dissapointed fans back to the stadiums. ” he added.
The fast bowler emphasized on PSL performances for emerging players to make their way back into the national team.
“This platform [PSL] plays a crucial role in grooming young talent. For senior players too, PSL performances can pave the way back into the Pakistan team, ” he concluded.
It’s worth noting that PSL 10 is set to commence on April 11, 2025. The opening match will see defending champions Islamabad United take on two-time winners Lahore Qalandars at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
The tournament, featuring six teams and 34 matches, will run from April 11 to May 18. Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium is set to host 13 matches, including both Eliminators and the grand final.
Karachi Kings will play their opening match on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at their home ground, National Bank Stadium, Karachi, against the Multan Sultans.
