
RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host its first-ever opening ceremony of the PSL X on Friday 11, which will kick off at 7 pm.
The opening ceremony will feature the exciting performances from renowned Sufi singer Abida Parveen, a cultural act from Ali Zafar, and a contemporary performance by Young Stunners.
Furthermore, PSL 2025 anthem singers Abrar ul Haq, Ali Zafar, Natasha Baig, and Talha Anjum will also perform at the glittering ceremony.
Fans will also be treated to a spectacular firework display during the event, the PCB said.
The opening ceremony will be followed by a maiden match of the 10th edition of the marquee event between defending champions Islamabad United and two-time winners Lahore Qalandars. The first ball of the match will be bowled at 8:30 pm.
The tournament will be played at four venues including Karachi’s National Bank Stadium, Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, Multan Cricket Stadium, and Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The final is scheduled to take place at the Gaddafi Stadium in May 18.
