Waqar Zaka Climbs to Fifth Place in Global Trading Competition

Cryptocurrency trader and educator Waqar Zaka is a Pakistani trader participating in the International TradFi Masters Competition series in which traders from various countries are competing with their own funds in the real financial markets.

Unlike with demo trading contests, the competition will need to use your own money and trade across a number of different asset classes, which consist of stocks, forex, gold, silver and cryptocurrencies. The participants are required actively to trade during the competition, observing the rules of competition.

The latest leader board list China at the top followed by South Korea, the United States and Japan. Waqar Zaka is playing for Pakistan in fifth position, but has still got a few days to go.

The final rankings are determined by considering overall profit, trading activity and risk management. The more profitable a trader becomes, the more points he will receive, and if he sets an invalid stop, he will lose points. The contestants also have to trade in all designated asset categories during the game.

The grand prize for this year’s competition will be a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon valued at $400,000 to $500,000, no matter which country they represent.

Waqar Zaka has also been a part of various international trading events and achieved impressive results in international rankings. He is also a well-known figure in Pakistan for his efforts to popularize Bitcoin and blockchain technology years before they gained mainstream acceptance.

Zaka has made multiple efforts to have the rules for cryptocurrencies clarified in Pakistan and has advocated the adoption of blockchain in financial innovations over the years. He has also been active in cryptocurrency education and has been urging people to invest in cryptocurrencies but first they need to be educated on the digital assets and risk management.

Again, his outfit has been a subject of interest for the trading fraternity of Pakistan, and the general interest is growing as the international competition moves into the final stages of the competition.
