Meezan Bank Updates Debit Card Charges for July-December 2026

Meezan Bank has introduced a revised schedule of charges for its debit cards, with the new fees taking effect for the July to December 2026 period.

The updated schedule covers Visa, MasterCard and PayPak debit cards, with charges varying according to the type of card selected. The bank says the revision is part of its regular update of banking service charges.

For Visa customers, the Visa Classic Debit Card now carries an issuance fee of Rs3,500, while the same amount will be charged as the annual renewal fee. The Visa Gold Card is priced at Rs4,500 for both issuance and annual renewal.

Customers choosing premium cards will pay higher charges. The Visa Platinum Card has an issuance and annual fee of Rs10,000, while the Visa Infinite Card carries a fee of Rs45,000 for issuance and the same amount for yearly renewal.

Meezan Bank has also maintained separate options for specific customer groups. The Women First Visa Card costs Rs500 for issuance with an annual fee of Rs3,500. The Kids & Teens Card is issued free of charge but has an annual fee of Rs1,250, while the Student Card remains free for both issuance and annual renewal.

For MasterCard users, the Classic Debit Card costs Rs3,500 for issuance and renewal each year. The Titanium Card is priced at Rs5,000, while the premium World Debit Card carries an issuance and annual fee of Rs27,500. Customers applying for the Foreign Currency (FCY) Debit Card will pay USD 15 for issuance and USD 15 as the annual fee.

The PayPak Debit Card remains the most affordable standard option, with an issuance fee of Rs2,500 and an annual renewal fee of Rs2,500.

Customers planning to apply for a new debit card or renew an existing one are advised to check the latest schedule of charges with their bank before submitting their request.
