Pakistan’s Arslan Ash Clinches Eighth EVO Title with Dominant Tekken 8 Victory

LAS VEGAS: The world-renowned esports star Arslan Ash has achieved a significant milestone in his career by clinching the victory at EVO 2026 for his record eighth EVO championship, further establishing his position in the competitive world of gaming.

In the grand final of the prestigious tournament, which saw 1,355 participants from all over the world, Arslan defeated his South Korea opponent Rangchu. The win brought the Pakistani player $28,000 in prize money, worth of almost Rs8 million.
Arslan’s cool, calculated approach was key in his ability to neutralize his opponent’s aggressive play, as he showed in the last game by defending with discipline and making accurate decisions. The win helped him to pick up another EVO trophy, and wrap up the match.

The championship win also awarded Arslan 800 Tekken World Tour points, along with direct qualification for the Tekken World Tour Finals 2026. Competing under Twisted Minds, he relied on Nina and Kunimitsu during the tournament.

Pakistan also celebrated another strong performance as Qasim Meer finished in sixth place, earning $4,200 in prize money and securing qualification for the Esports World Cup 2026.

The latest success further strengthens Pakistan’s growing reputation in competitive Tekken, where the country’s players have consistently challenged and defeated some of the world’s best competitors.

Arslan Ash’s latest triumph adds another historic milestone to his already remarkable career and reinforces his position as one of the greatest Tekken players in esports history.
