Waqar Zaka Wins Global TradFi Trading Competition, Secures First Place and Mercedes G-Wagon Prize

Waqar Zaka, a Pakistani trader, and digital assets advocate, has clinched the first prize in the international WEEX TradFi Masters Competition, which involves more than 2,000 traders from all over the world in a real-money trading challenge.

On the competition leaderboard available to the public via WEEX, Zaka was in the lead with a 74% return on investment (ROI) in the limited period of 12 days. Throughout the contest, he created around $74,000 worth of trading profit and also increased his account value to around $174,000.

The competition featured top traders from Pakistan, China, South Korea, Japan and the United States. The competition was one of the biggest multi-asset trading ones of the year as participants engaged in trading with their own money in various markets such as cryptocurrencies, stocks, gold, silver and other financial assets.

WEEX also revealed that Zaka has traded over 42.5 million USDT, the most of all the competitors. He’s been rewarded with the grand prize of a brand-new 2026 Mercedes-Benz G-Class (G-Wagon) as the overall winner.

Unlike simulated trading contests, the TradFi Masters event was a real money trading event. The final rankings were based on trading performance and profitability, trading activity and risk management over the course of the competition.

The success has garnered a lot of interest from the financial and cryptocurrency terrain in Pakistan, where many refer to it as one of the nation’s best-ever performances in an international trading competition. The outcome has been welcomed by supporters as an acknowledgment of Pakistan’s expanding role in world’s financial markets.
