The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the dates of Pakistan’s 5-match One-Day International (ODI) series against England from 15th – 26th May 2027.
The series will also be a significant part of both sides’ plans for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2027 in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia later this year.
Pakistan will start their tour in Southampton in the first ODI on 15 May. The second match would take place in Manchester on 19 May and the third ODI in Leeds on 21 May. The fourth game will then be played in Chester-le-Street on 23 May with the final one played in Cardiff on 26 May.
The five-match series will be expected to help both sides complete their combinations ahead of the World Cup, and provide players with much needed international match practice with some tough opposition.
Pakistan are currently fifth in ICC ODI rankings while England are at seventh spot, making this an exciting matchup for two veteran white-ball teams.
Pakistan are wrapping up their Test duties in the West Indies and are also heading back to England later on for a three-match Test series.
The two sides have played in 91 ODI matches. England have emerged victorious in 56 matches and Pakistan have secured 32 victories with the rest remaining either draws or tied.
The anticipating fans of the game are expected to keep a close watch on the series as both the teams are preparing to build a momentum that would lead to one of the biggest series in international cricket.
