Gold Prices Fall in Pakistan as 24-Karat Rate Drops by Rs2,300 Per Tola

KARACHI: The price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan fell by Rs2300 per tola after few days of international bullion market’s downfall in the initial days of the new trading week.

The market rates of 24-karat gold declined by Rs1,972 and 10 grams of 24-karat gold by Rs428,936, to become Rs367,743 and Rs428,936 respectively, with the latest market rates respectively, the latest market rates.
The price drop in the area was after international gold prices dropped $23 per ounce, reaching the world price of $4,065 per ounce.

Silver prices also moved lower in the domestic market. The price of silver per tola decreased by Rs69 to Rs6,324, while 10 grams of silver fell by Rs59, reaching Rs5,421.

Bullion market analysts said local gold prices generally follow movements in the international market, along with fluctuations in the exchange rate and import-related costs.

Market experts believe gold prices may continue to fluctuate in the coming days as investors closely monitor global economic developments, central bank policies and international demand for precious metals.
